FAQ

Which payment methods do you accept?

we accept cash and e-transfers. Deposits are always paid by e-transfer. The remaining balance is due on pick up or drop-off. Cash is preferred for the balance.

Are the parents on site?

Yes! The parents are our pets.

Are we able to visit the puppies prior to choosing one?

We currently do not accept visits in our home as we do not want to risk having infection brought in.  Puppies have not had their first vaccinations until 8 weeks of age, so introduction of new people/their pets could risk bringing in disease that they are not yet immune to. We are happy to do video calls and provide you with more images and content of the puppies, so you feel comfortable choosing one. If you are adopting one of our puppies after they are 8 weeks old a visit can be arranged, we will meet you in person at a disclosed location, so you are able to meet your potential puppy before committing without risking the health of our other puppies and other litters.

When can I pick up or have my puppy delivered?

Puppies are able to leave their mom at 8 weeks of age, after they receive their first vaccine and have been fully dewormed. Since training and socialization are such key elements in producing well-adjusted dogs, puppies do best when going to their new homes and starting training at 8-weeks of age, unless we determine they need to stay longer.

Would you fly a puppy to me?

No, we don’t feel it’s right to put a young puppy on an airplane. They will already be fearful and anxious about leaving mom and their littermates. We don’t want to put our puppies through the added stress.

Do you deliver?

Yes! We can deliver your puppy anywhere in the Ottawa area free of charge. We can also deliver up to 4 hours away (we’re located in Smiths Falls, Ontario) for a fee.

Do you offer a health guarantee?

We guarantee all puppies to be of sound health and temperament at the time of sale. A health record of vaccination and worming will be provided. If within 72 hours, a Licensed Veterinarian finds the puppy to be unhealthy or unfit for sale, the puppy may be returned for a full refund – provided the puppy has not been injured or neglected. The veterinarian must provide a written statement deeming the puppy “unhealthy for purchase.” This guarantee does not include minor illnesses and health issues such as colds, allergies, internal or external parasites or umbilical hernias. We can not assume responsibility for this puppy after 72 hours of the sale.

Is there anything else included with the puppy?

Your puppy will be leaving fully dewormed, would have received its first vaccinations. Also included is a blanket that smells like mom and a free 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion which gives you piece of mind. It is your responsibility to enroll your puppy within the first 24 hours of possession with Trupanion to enact this free coverage.

Pomsky puppies look like fluffy miniature wolves and it’s this unique appearance that has dog lovers all over the world completely infatuated.

How big do Pomskies get?

Pomskies can come in a variety of sizes from 10-35+lbs. The majority of our puppies mature in the 15-30lb range.  We can never guarantee size, but we do our best to make accurate predictions.

What are Pomskies personality traits?

Pomskies are playful, energetic and intelligent. They love family life and children so they will become one of the family very quickly. They are incredibly sweet and affectionate, so be prepared to cuddle them. They get along well with other dogs and pets. Pomskies love both adults and children. A Pomsky can match the energy and stamina of almost any child making wonderful playmates.
