2. Fill Out an Application and pick your puppy

Puppy selection happens at or after 3 weeks old.  This is done via email, photos and video calls. We do not let people come to our home to pick out their puppy as we do not want to risk having infection brought in. Puppies have not had their first vaccinations until 8 weeks of age, so introduction of new people/their pets could risk bringing in disease that they are not yet immune to. If you are adopting one of our puppies after they are 8 weeks old a visit can be arranged, we will meet you in person at a disclosed location so you are able to meet your potential puppy before committing without risking the health of our other puppies and other litters. To ensure the safety of our dogs and puppies, you will be asked to disinfect your hands and foot ware with chemical disinfectants prior to handling the puppy.

Once you pick your puppy, fill out our puppy application. Once we receive it, we will email you back with information and have you look over a copy of our contract. If you’d like to continue with the adoption, we would then have you send us a signed copy of the contract and the deposit to reserve the puppy of your choice.

3. Submit a Deposit to Reserve Your Puppy

We require a $500 non-refundable deposit to reserve a puppy.  The easiest way to send your deposit is by E-Transfer.  The deposit is part of the total cost of your puppy, once your deposit is paid the remaining balance will be due at pickup or drop off time. Deposits are non-refundable. A receipt will be provided after deposit is received. Puppy selection is based upon the order of deposits received.     

4. Taking Home Your Puppy

Finally, the time has come to bring home your new family member!  Puppies are ready to go home at 8 weeks old, we will arrange a day and time that works for you to come and pick up your puppy. We are located in Smiths Falls, Ontario. Approximately 45 minutes away from Ottawa. We do offer free delivery of puppies in Ottawa. We can also deliver within 4 hours of Ottawa for a fee.
